Kontrast 01 / 02 is a conceptual photography project by Paweł Franik, centered on relationships between images. Individual photographs do not operate as standalone narratives; meaning emerges through their juxtaposition. The work explores contrasts between light and shadow, nature and architecture, and the human scale within expansive spaces.

The black-and-white aesthetic functions as a tool of reduction, directing attention toward structure, geometry, and visual tension. Fragmented frames form modular compositions that subtly disrupt orientation and encourage active perception. The project examines the threshold between documentation and abstraction, and considers how space shapes human presence and visual experience.

Project is part of the fine art photography practice of Paweł Franik, a contemporary visual artist working with conceptual and spatial narratives.
